Tiarra is Thirty-Four and lives in Harlem. She has worked at Blush Blu for three years now and loves the club and what it stands for. For Tiarra it is not just another lesbian strip club but rather a home away from home and a safe space for women to come and own who they are. She doesn’t need the job at the club, she is a successful graphic designer and also runs two classes a week teaching kids how to graffiti in a safe space, but she couldn’t imagine giving up her Friday night shift.
She was born in Richmond and moved to New York at the age of Twenty-Nine in search of something more and now she knows she will never leave Harlem, it has her heart. Tiarra is a free spirit and encourages others to chase their dreams and do what makes them happy, but she also has a hard edge and will stand up and fight if she believes in something.
A month ago she slept with Kendra after a few weeks of constant flirting. She knows Kendra isn’t the type to settle down but when Dae comes in and sleeps with Kendra her anger gets the better of her. She couldn’t say exactly why but she didn’t like Dae from the first time she met her and she was pretty sure the feeling was mutual. Now the tension between her and Dae has turned into outright hostility and Tiarra knows a confrontation is brewing.
